Undergraduate Internship - Healthcare Administration

Join a team of driven health care professionals at an award-winning academic medical center! This 8, 10, or 12-week internship experience is specifically designed for undergraduate students seeking administrative and operations experience in health care. You’ll build relationships across our health care enterprise as you bring solutions to the table. Previous interns have gained valuable experience in everything from innovative digital health systems, patient satisfaction, leading edge technology, human resources and so much more. Our internship program also dedicates time for professional development through lunch n’ learns, social events, and presentations from our practitioners and leaders.

Each intern is matched a department based on their interests and skills and the department’s needs. In Summer 2020, we have 18-20 opportunities available in our administrative and operations track (listed below). For each of these opportunities, the intern will work on special projects to stand up new processes or improve existing department operations:

In your application, we give you the option to indicate an interest area. You are also welcome to expound upon this interest in an optional cover letter. Aside from these experiences, we also have three other undergraduate internship tracks for those with a clinical background (nursing, NP, PA), for those seeking a data concentration, and for those with graphic design and architecture experience.
